It’s a million degrees outside as the day approaches 3PM. I took a trip to see one of the most genuine and authentic souls I know. Just a week prior I mentioned having this idea of getting up close and personal with my camera and without even thinking about it he volunteered to be a part of my little project. As usual, we got right into conversations about life, love and self over light music but I couldn’t help but notice how organic the air was. It was perfect, natural. The messy hair, Caribbean shirt, smooth skin over delicate features. Going somewhere else would have been criminal and as if reading my mind he said so where we doing this because I’m ready now. That quickly translated into hold on let me get my camera. What would transpire over the next fifteen minutes was exactly what I was thinking when I had the idea for this series. Get close to Nate because he showed up.
